If there's anything in OP that's the equivalent of having a high mana rank, it'd be being a master Haki user.
Frankly, I think that the only chance Medusa has is escalating to Pegasus right at the start, and even that doesn't seem very likely to work, considering the incredible durability of OP characters.īoa's one of the stronger users of Haki, the willpower-based ability in One Piece that's used both offensively and defensively in a number of ways from reinforcing the body, KO'ing people, resisting said KO'ing, and so on.
Her ability to just ignore attacks with Armament Haki shouldn't be discounted either, and all of this is before we add in her incredibly powerful devil fruit abilities. And given the many instances of OP characters far less powerful than Boa who are lightning timers, Medusa doesn't have any kind of advantage in speed, either. There's nothing Medusa has ever done that is, say, on the level of even Luffy tossing Mohmoo, and Boa is massively superior to a Luffy that has several powerups and arcs worth of training under his belt.
